Even though these are free VPN software it does not mean that they are limited. Most of the free VPN client software can easily rival a retail package. The companies that create VPN connection software for free understand that small a small business does not necessarily need an expensive VPN client software, they simply need a safer way for their employees to conduct business.

All VPN software packages are essentially the same. It really comes down to the size of the VPN. What might work for a small business wouldn't necessarily work for larger one. Technical support and ease of use should be the ultimate deciding factor when choosing a VPN software package.
